Vivian Au had studied with numerous well-known musicians and teachers such as Dave Langguth, Mike Johnston, Rick Lazar, Stephane S. Wong and Chris Perra and wishes to influence her students like her mentors.

Vivian loves playing with different musician and has performed extensively at various events such as Parliament First Contact Concert, Night Market, Fête Chinoise, Times Square Summer Carnival, Vocalibre, New Talent, Song Quest and various weddings and corporate events.  She has had opportunities to perform with 動力火車, 周蕙, 林一峰, Soler, 葉振棠, 張立基, 太極 and other local artists such as WAV for their first china tour.

To foster and cultivate her students in achieving their goals in music is one of her main principles as a dedicated musician. Vivian’s teaching philosophy is to encourage, inspire and open new insights for her students.   She believes that with a positive attitude and encouragement, students can feel the fun for learning and playing drums.
